My first week

What do you remember about your first week at university?

It was a crazy week because I was from a small town and I moved to a big city that it was unknown for me. Everything  were new... buses, classes, friends and so on. I needed to buy many books, special stuff to drawing; papers, pens, pencils, table...I didn´t have enough money but I was  the prizewinner of a gift card valued at 120 euros, this was my lifeboat, in the end I survived.

A Global Language

This unit is about how important is English language.

"And according to the British Council, in ten years time 2 billion people will study English and about half the world´s population will speak it".

Nowadays our president, Zapatero, does not speak English...but Obama does not speak Spanish and there are 34 million Spanish speakers in USA. I agree with O. teachs English to Z. and Z. teachs Spanish to O. It will be a perfect exchange.
