Different forms of USED TO




Present habits, repeated actions and states

-Present Simple- present habits and repeated actions.
"I usually pay with credit card"-Present Continuous- present habits and repeated actions that annoy us or happen more than usual.
"My sister is always borrowing clothes from me"
-Will+infinitive- repeated actions and typical behavior in the present.
"Sometimes I'll  take a walk around the park"
 Past habits, repeated actions and states
-Past Simple and used to + infinitive- past habits, repeated actions and states.
"I used to live in Huelva"
-Would+infinitive- past habits, repeated actions.
"When I lived alone, I'd eat more vegetables"
Be used to
To talk about things those are familiar and no longer strange or difficult for us.
" I'm used to spending all the holidays in the beach"
Get used to
To talk about things those become familiar, less strange or less difficult over a period of time. It is a process, an action.
" I did not get used to living in Kansas"
