"Home" is set in our planet nowdays, and it shows us how the Earth are changing due to humans being. The main idea is being aware of all organisms and the Earth are linked, and we need to get the balance to survive together.
We should concern about:
Water -
100 liters of water .... 1 kilogram of potatoes
4000 liters of water.....1 kilogram of rice
13.000 liters of water .... 1 kilogram of beef
"The Colorado River is one of those rivers that no longer reaches the sea"
5.000 people a day die because of dirty drinking water
1 billion people have no access to safe drinking water
Nearly 1 billion people are going hungry
Over 50% of grain traded around the world is used for animal feed or biofuels
Every year 13 millions hectares of forest disappear
...
Please... Think about what we buy!!!
The last part of the film is positive and tells us about positive movements, for example the "Eco-friendly district in Freiburg, Germany"...
So... It's up to us to write what happens next.
